How do WE support YOU?
| Technical Design | |
Setting up and operating sound, lighting, video and stage equipment is one thing – but often a venue poses a particular challenge, a performing artist has extra-ordinary requests or the client wants to move heaven and earth. Perhaps the event is integrated with TV or is relayed live as a webcast. In these instances standard technical operation is insufficient and requires technical event DESIGN. dB Audio Namibia’s continuous investment in training and exposure for our Team, coupled with our 15 years in the business, has perfectly positioned us to be able to assess, plan, engineer, execute and DESIGN workable technical solutions.

| Pitch Support | |
For event managers who need to pitch their concept to a client, or corporate clients who need to persuade their powers that be, dB Audio Namibia can help you get the job by translating the concept into practical sales tools such as CAD drawings, 3D visualisations and technical reports. We are open to collaborating with advertising agencies and communications companies for formal account pitches.
|
| CAD Design | |
Our CAD (Computer Aided Design) draughtsmen can translate your rough sketches and ideas for an event into full scale 3D drawings to show what stages, sets, seating arrangement, lighting, video, sound and rigging will look like in the venue. Using Vectorworks software, they implement dB Audio Namibia’s knowledge of local venues to ensure the drawings are not just great pitch winners, but can help solve complex technical challenges before set-up even commences – saving both time and money.
|
| Previsualisation | |
Lighting is one of the most visible components of any event. A dynamic lighting design has many states and cues and the programming can be very time-intensive. Depending on venue availability for set-up, and being ready for checks and rehearsals, time is a luxury the lighting designer often does not have. To minimise this frustration and to ensure perfect execution of an intensive lighting rig, dB Audio Namibia uses state of the art previsualization software to create 3D renders of your event, which can be used for planning purposes or pre-programming of fixtures. It is also an excellent pitch tool to show clients how the venue will look with different lighting moods and themes.

| Show Calling | |
All the components of an event are ready – sound, lights, screens, stage, MCs, performers, audience – the show starts in 3-2-1…
It is the Show Caller’s responsibility to ensure that the event runs as planned – that the talent is on stage when they should be, that the MC makes the correct announcements and that all technical cues happen as they should. dB Audio Namibia provides show calling (also called event direction) as a specialized service which can be extended to include drawing up of run-orders, writing MC scripts, managing event media and running backstage. |
